Layers of Life is an intuitive painting. Each layer was inspired by different periods of my life. I also journaled about Trust on the underlayers. I let some words become visible, on a subtle way, so they come through from the underlayer at the top right of the canvas. I found it mysterious and I used pit pen for journaling, pencil in the underlayers to reflect emotions and push the paint around. Oil pastels on the top layer to add some little detail which felt good.
