The quotes in the background:

“The journey of a thousand miles Begins with a single step…”
I chose Thalia as a Muse, the goddess of comedy because I love comedy and I drawn to masks.
Sometimes I don’t know where I’m heading because my circumstances are changing unexpectedly which cause anxiety and stress for me. Not because of myself, but because of my family members who I need to leave behind if I have to go abroad because certain issues are unsolvable in my country. My teenage son really hates sudden shifts in our life, saying that our luggage is always half full, and we are never fully settled down.
Just to get some guidance and realise my tension, I started painting: “It’s time to ask your Muse” with quotes in the background to encourage myself.
The branches running up to the face of my Muse represent the limiting belief coming from my past that holds me back. I was wondering if I should free the Muse from them but in the end, I kept them. My Muse needs to understand my background in order to whisper the right answers to me.
Painting my Muse helped me to find and take my next baby step. Keep going.
