5 Questions to Beata Bosze
Beáta Bősze is a Hungarian-born artist painting between Budapest and Krakow. Though she holds a degree in finance from the Budapest University of Economics, her creative journey began later—through emotional exploration, intuitive practice, and the gentle act of returning to herself.
She studied with Malaysian, Iranian, and American painters—both in person and online—and is an alumna of the Creative Visionary Program.
Her work has appeared in solo exhibitions in Kuala Lumpur and Várpalota, and in international art fairs such as the Carrousel du Louvre in Paris. Since 2022, she’s participated in group shows across Hungary and France.
Rooted in movement, memory, and emotional healing, Beáta’s paintings invite us to reconnect with beauty—within and around us.
1. How did you start painting?
My life once followed the language of numbers.
But everything changed one day in Malaysia, when I opened an email titled:
“How to become a creative, happy woman?”
That invitation led me to paint my happy place—with my fingers, with music playing, and with no rules—only emotion. It felt so liberating that I haven’t stopped painting since.
"Staircase to Heaven"
2. What feelings shape your art the most?
I’m moved by deep emotional landscapes:
🌸 joy and loneliness
🌿 connection and distance
🌊 hope, and the quiet courage to begin again
Living in Malaysia left a lasting imprint—the tropical colors, the rich vegetation, the visual softness of Asian art. But so did pain.
Painting became my sanctuary. A space for healing. A language beyond words.
I let my subconscious lead the way and trust that magic will appear between the layers.
3. What is your painting process like?
I paint in layers. I let emotion lead.
With acrylics, I move fast—capturing fleeting feelings.
With oils, I slow down—allowing the meaning to unfold softly over time.
I use charcoal, soft pastels, pencil, paint—whatever speaks to the moment.
Often, I begin in pure abstraction. But sometimes, figures arrive—quiet symbols from the subconscious.
4. What do you want your art to say?
I want each painting to feel like a place—
a soft, dreamlike world the viewer can step into and rest inside.
It’s not about answers.
It’s about invitation.
You might find Grace there.
5. Where can we find more of your work?
