One of a kind abstract artwork.
Acrylic, soft pastels, gold pigments on 30x30 cm (12x12 inches) birch wood. The background is copper and gold. I used Primary Elements gold pigments for creating this background.
The wood is 12 mm deep. (1/2 inch). Unframed. I prefer my paintings framed but I can add two wood panels and wiring to the back if you prefer soo. If you need this hanging option, let me know in a message.
This painting is part of the Red Energy series that I painted for the Mid-summer Night in 2022.
This painting is about the beauty of willow trees standing at the river bank of Danube at sunset when the sun colours the trees with orange and red and makes you stop. At the willow trees there is a figure praying silently or expressing her gratitude.
If you have seen this painting earlier, do not be shocked, but I overpainted the top of it and added more layers and gold. I used gold pigments.
A canvas print of the painting was exhibited in the Big Heart Charity installation in the Carrousel du Louvre in Paris in October 2022. It also participates in the Let there be light 20x20 group shows in France, in November in the Town Hall of the Mairie d’ARGENTRé. All the proceeds support children's studies from Uganda and the Philippines.
