This painting was inspired by a book I received at the end of first grade when I passed with flying colours. I was especially captivated by the story of the bluebird—the prince's beloved, who visited him in the tower of the castle while he was imprisoned.
It's part of my Impression Series, which I began after moving to Krakow, Poland, to capture my first emotions and impressions of the city.
